,In Bilbao, modern art and architecture meet narrow colourful alleys, cozy squares and magnificent pincho pubs. But above all is the Guggenheim Museum built by Frank Gehry in the 90s, the most spectacular museum building I have ever seen. The works of the modern artists in the museum are certainly outstanding. But the avant-garde architecture of the museum with the round shapes and the shiny facades is simply incomparable and overwhelming.’
